Hey there! I'm DENNIS, a 7 year old dude looking for my forever family. I was sadly found wandering around the countryside by myself. I went up to a house looking for help and thankfully kind humans looked after me.
I've adapted well to my new life in my foster home and I am super attached to my foster family so I know I would get attached to yours. I especially love being with my foster dad and just want to be by his side at all times, whether he's sitting on the couch or doing yard work.
Speaking of yard work, let me tell you how much I love being outside. It is my happy place! Since I love being outdoors so much, I'm looking for a house with a nice high fenced in yard (no condos please). I also love going for walks but I don’t really like interacting wihth non-family members while I am out for a walk. I am very strong and can pull so need a family who can work on that.
I am part cattle dog and that means I enjoy herding. Sometimes that means, I am a little too bossy or rough with kids so I need a home where everyone is over the age of 16. I also don’t want another pet in the home (be it a cat or dog). I am not always that social or friendly with other animals, so interactions have to be done carefully outside the home.
However, with my people, I’m very sweet and playful. I love zoomies in the yard and cuddles on the couch. I'm also a very respectful and clean and am completely housetrained. I haven't had one single accident in my foster home and I'm very proud of that! I also have been a good boy when my foster family has gone out and left me for short periods of time.

Please note that although many of our dogs get along with children, we are not able to adopt to any household with kids under the age of 8 years old. This is a stipulation of our insurance and is not a reflection on suitability of the potential adopter.
Our adoption fees are as follows:
$800 for puppies (approx. 1 year and under)
$750 for adults (2-6 years)
$600 for seniors (7 years and up)
All new pet parents will receive 6 weeks complimentary Pet Secure Accident and Illness Protection for any dog adopted from Just Paws. Once activated, the trial will cover veterinary bills up to $500.00 for accidents or illnesses, excluding pre-existing conditions. Please note that Just Paws is not responsible for insurance issues that may arise with your chosen veterinarian
