Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Cooper! He’s a 4 year old Shih Tzu that was rescued from a local LA shelter back in October.
He’s a very sweet loving boy. A little shy at first, but becomes your little shadow once he knows you. He’s a very curious dog and enjoys meeting people so much so that he goes up to people at the dog park rather than play with dogs. He seems to be indifferent to dogs. His interactions have been mixed. Most he’ll ignore, others he’ll growl at, so it may be best if he was the only dog in the house.
Cooper has a bit of separation anxiety. It manifests in him excessively panting, drooling, barking and pacing/not being able to be calm. Ideally he needs someone who is home a lot (beyond COVID), or who has multiple people in the home. Please do not apply if you feel you cannot work with him in this area.
