Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chancy is the most polite boy ever met, that is how he is described when he meets new people. He greets humans with a tail wagging.
Chancy is estimated to be 3 to 4 years. This boy is so sweet and lovable. Chancy will make a great companion for someone that loves to stay active but also enjoys snuggling on the sofa or in your bed.
OH! and someone that loves giving and getting smoochy kisses.
Chancy is also content laying around chewing on his bone for a while, which as long as he has it, he touches nothing else. He is house and crate trained, loves his routines, especially meal time and treats. He has recently begun learning basic commands and not pulling on the leash and is catching on quickly.
He loves morning walks with his foster dad. He tolerates his 3 fur siblings but would do well as an only dog too. Chancy is not thrilled with cats, small dogs or other alpha male dogs. Chancy likes to be the center of attention; he can get a little jealous. Chancy would do best with a balanced female dog.
A fenced yard is required due to the prey nature towards small wild animals.
Chancy also enjoys playing ball with the 4 children he lives with or just rolling over at getting the belly rubs. He rarely goes far from the kids, at their feet or under the table following them wherever they go. he LOVES kids!
Chancy is strong and muscular and sometimes doesn’t know his own strength; therefore little bit older kids are a must. He will need to be in a home with kids over the age of 10 yrs that can respect the space of a dog; example, no climbing on them and can handle his love.
Chancy really is the best boy! He deserves all the love and I promise he will give his love back ten fold. He had a rough start to life but never before have I met such a forgivable dog, a dog that just wants to be part of a family whether it be big or small, one person or ten, just include him in your everyday life.
