PENDING ADOPTION

Meet Delilah or as her foster parents like to call her, Delightful Delilah and what a delight she is!!! Delilah is very sweet, calm & loving. She loves a soft comfy bed to snuggle in or will be happy snuggled up next to you. Did we mention belly rubs? She LOVES belly rubs. If you can give a nice belly rub you will have a new best friend. Delilah is the Queen of belly rubs and will rollover all day long for them. Even better, a belly rub while sunbathing. Ah! The best of both worlds.

She is HW+ and has started treatment. She came to us severely overweight and is quickly dropping those pounds while enjoying walks with her pack. She also has some dermatological issues on right rear hock which is also being treated.

If you are interested in adopting Delilah, you can fill out an application right on our website! Go to our online adoption application. Delilah's adoption fee is $350. All adoption fees go directly to veterinary care for DREAM dachshunds. All of our dogs will go to his / her new home microchipped, altered, heartworm tested, up to date on vaccinations, and all other medical needs addressed. Most dogs' veterinary expenses are greater than our adoption fees.

DREAM is an all-volunteer rescue group. We focus on the metro Atlanta area and can assist throughout the state of Georgia. Because we are all volunteers, we can consider applications only within an hour of these areas. DREAM does not recommend purebred dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a doxie's back.
