My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Foster needed by March 20‼️
This beautiful girl is Lyka.
Lyka was found chained to a tree in a wooded area with her then owner living in a tent in after her owner became homeless during the height of the Covi d disaster. The ACO was great and so helpful worked hard with the owner to intervene and get Lyka released to the town so she would be properly cared for. Not to worry, the former owner is getting himslef back on track, but we feel so lucky to be in a position to help Lyka. After so much trauma from an unfortunate situation, Lyka very much needed training and vet care. She’s now ready for a FOREVER HOME or a foster home!
Lyka is a wonderful girl who thrives with training and structure.
We are seeking experienced foster, a natural strong leader who will continue working with her on the skills she has learned over the past few weeks in training. 👉🏻👉🏻👉🏻CALLING ALL HARDCORE BULLY PEEPS! 👀 where are you?? LYKA NEEDS YOU!!!! Please apply today
🐾 No other pets.
🐾 Crate trained.
🐾 Lyka is professionally prong collar, E collar, and muzzle trained. Her trainer will come to your home and work with you to show how to work with Lyka.
🐾 No young kids due to her size and strength and lack of experience and exposure
🐾 Spayed, Microchipped and up-to-date on vaccinations.
Lyka’s ideal physical and mental stimulation would include a daily dose of the following:
• 30 minutes of ball play/30 minutes structured walk
• Working for her meals (something trainer will show the fosters/adopters how to do)
• 2 & 1/2 cups of kibble daily
• Earning her meals via interactive toys
• Sleeping in a crate (following an extended decompression protocol, of course).
• Being crated when she is home alone
• Keeping up with her training on a daily basis especially the exercises that work on her impulse control.
Lyka is a great dog that deserves a home. She will be a great companion dog and loves to snuggle and hang out. She needs to be provided with structure, mental, and physical exercise, but Lyka will prove to her foster that this effort is more than worth it! Her foster (or adopter) will be repaid with a loving, loyal companion. She’s ready to be someone’s lifelong BEST FRIEND! ❤️🐾
