My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wes is the cutest dog in the world!! He is 3 years old, full of energy and as lovable as can be. Wes has never met a stranger - he loves everybody.



Wes gets along fine with other dogs, but he's past the age of really wanting to play with any of them. He would much rather grab a stuffed toy and lay down with his back feet out to either side of his body and chew the toy.



Wes really enjoys being outdoors playing and going for walks. Walking him is fun because those short basset legs move at terrier speed! He has a terrier yip that is sometimes followed by a bigger basset bark!



Wes stands at about a foot high and weighs in at 34 pounds. He was turned into the pound by his elderly owner when her health declined and she could no longer keep up with him.
