FIONA NEEDS AN ADOPTER WITH A PRIVATE BACKYARD, WITHOUT YOUNG CHILDREN OR OTHER PETS AND PREFERABLY WHO IS EXPERIENCED WITH GREAT DANES/LARGE BREEDS.

Meet super sweet Princess Fiona. She is an 8-year-old Great Dane. Her family moved out of state and now she is on The Rescue Train waiting for her fairytale ending. We are looking for a FURever home for this majestic creature. She's a young 8-year old, very strong and active. Her favorite activity is playing with her ball and chasing it around. She’s very kind and gentle, as well as a couch potato who just wants to be loved and give love.

Fiona has limited vision, about 20-40%, and for that reason she can be protective of herself around new people and new animals. She needs a lot of verbal cues, but once she feels safe with you, she becomes a giant love bug...and we mean GIANT!
