My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name's Creamsicle and I'm a very special girl for a few different reasons! The first is that I have a mild case of Cerebellar Hypoplasia, or CH. This is a non-contagious developmental condition that for me means I might be a little clumsy at times and I have a bit of a distinctive waddle-walk. You might also notice my whiskers and eyes twitching at times, but don't worry, it's nothing serious and my foster mom calls it my special wink! The second thing that makes me unique is I am working on learning a few tricks and could totally learn more with proper training! The third thing that makes me so special is how much I love asking for cuddles and kisses! I also have a unique purr that I love to bust out while I'm getting head scratches, and you can hear me chirping as I play with my younger foster siblings. I make sure to be as gentle with them as I can, but I'm very active and might run into them while I'm on the hunt for the laser pointer. I would do best in a forever home with another young cat or kitten to play with but if you are an experienced CH adopter, or someone who is willing to put in the time to learn more about how to take care of a cat with CH, I would love to be your lap cat and playmate!

Because of the covid virus we have temporarily suspended our typical adoption activities. If you would like to be considered as a Foster to adopt candidate please complete an adoption application at https://www.tailshigh.org/home/adoption-application/ or reply to this post and tell us why you're looking to adopt. Each application is considered for approval on a case by case basis.

To be considered as a potential adopter, complete an adoption application. Completing the application does not guarantee it will be approved.

We are an all volunteer group and unfortunately are unable to answer every phone call, adoption inquiry, or application.

Please understand you will be contacted only if your application is approved.
