My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pixie is a sweetheart!
She's a bully breed mix, about two years old, and she is really a terrific dog.
Pixie seems to make friends with all humans she meets.
She would be fine in a home with slightly older children - 13 years old or older. She's a young, energetic girl and could easily bowl over little ones without meaning to do so.
She prefers to be the only dog in the home. She hasn't yet been tested with cats, but she did see one in passing and wasn't overly interested - so it's possible she could live happily with a dog-savvy cat. A meet and greet would let us know for sure.
Pixie would love a fenced-in yard to run and play in, but it's not an absolute requirement. She would enjoy a family who takes her on long walks - even hikes - and new adventures.
She is already spayed and up to date with vetting and vaccines.
Please let us know if you would like to make this sweet girl a family member - either temporary or permanent! We guarantee she will make you smile daily!

Pixie needs either a foster or a forever family. We would also do a foster-to-adopt placement for her. Fosters need to be located within the state of CT. Adopters need to be located in one of the New England states (CT, RI, MA, VT, NH, ME) and be able to come to CT for a meet and greet with entire family. We do not transport our dogs out of state and do not do long-distance adoptions.
