Tiny Chihuahua Alert! Hi everybody my name is Missy and I am a 6-year -old dainty little Chihuahua weighing 4 pounds. A good samaritan found me wandering the streets and got me into rescue. We searched for my owners but no one came forward to claim me. The streets are no place for a little dog like me and I am darn lucky to have survived. The rescue folks got me the medical care I needed. My mouth was a mess and I was in pain. I had to have 10 teeth removed but now I feel so much better.

At first I am a bit shy but I will warm up to you if you give me a few days. Once I know you I am a very sweet dog who loves attention. I sleep in a dog bed at night. My foster momma and I are working on kennel training so soon I can sleep in a kennel at night. I am highly motivated by treats so I should have this mastered in no time. I have three favorite activities; 1) snuggling, 2) soaking up the sun and 3) eating. I must always be supervised when outdoors as I am small and easy prey for other animals. No dog doors for me!

I am looking for my new forever home. Ideally my forever home will be an adults only home or one with older children. I do best in a calm environment. I get along with other small dogs but I don’t interact much with them. I really need folks to be patient with me as I am scared of new people and need time to warm up. I am an easy going girl who is obedient and loyal. If you have room in your home (I really take up no space at all!) and heart please consider adopting me. Missy’s adoption fee of $350 includes the dental cleaning, vaccinations, microchip and spay.
