Six-year-old Sissi is a petite girl with shiny black fur, pretty green eyes and a soft, gentle purr.
She was rescued from a colony at JFK airport because was suffering from a large ear polyp that left her unable to walk or balance. But we had the polyp surgically removed and now Sissi is healthy and happy with only a slight head tilt.
Sissi LOVES to be touched. She melts when you scratch under her chin and rolls over with delight when you pet her. But she is also very shy so she needs an adopter who is patient, calm and gentle. She will probably hide for a bit in the beginning and you will need to give her time to warm up to you before she shows you just how affectionate she can be.
Sissi has a mellow personality and would do best in a low-key home without young children or dogs. She’s fine with other cats but her attention is focused mainly on her human. Among her favorite things: Rolling on the carpet, laying in soft fluffy beds, playing with her toys and snacking on squeeze-up treats like Churus.
She is the sweetest girl and deserves the very best home.
