My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Estimated DOB 8/11/2020. Rescued from poor living situation outside on a porch without access to clean food or water. 9 weeks and not even 3 lbs when we got her. She is now 7 months old and 30 lbs. House trained, kennel trained, 6 petsmart training classes (knows sit,wait,leave it, go to bed (kennel), non aggressive around children but she is a puppy so she will jump and does play nip or gnaw which kids don’t always understand. I have never felt like she would hurt one of my kids ages 2-7. She would be great with another dog. She is high energy and friendly. Koko comes from a well intentioned household. We lost our first dog to cancer in August 2020, and we thought that throwing ourselves into rescuing Koko would help with our grief. We have enjoyed fostering her to health and watching her grow, but she deserves a forever home that can dedicate the time and attention she longs for. My hope is that she finds her forever “person” and brings that person or family many years of happiness.
