Here's what the humans have to say about me:
BREED SPECIFIC EXPERIENCED OWNERS, PLEASE ! *** GREAT FAMILY DOG !! ***
Adorable 'Harley Quinn' is a 75-80 lb., Bluetick Coonhound female who has 'never met a stranger'. She is so sweet, so friendly. An affectionate, smart, obedient, devoted, very, very good girl. Just such an incredibly nice pooch that is so pleasant to have around. Harley Quinn is so well mannered; walks nicely on a leash, is eager to please, orients strongly to her handler and takes direction and commands readily. She likes being a 'house dog', and does enjoy time outside with her person. Her optimal home would be one with an owner who has ample time for her and a fenced in yard to play, walk and stroll. Harley Quinn is also great with other friendly dogs, and is unfazed by loud, boisterous ones. Harley is terrific with kids, but due to her occasional 'coon hound talking', a home with kids over the age of 6 yrs old is probably advisable. (She does act like she is trying to have a conversation with you, and it is hilarious!)
Harley Quinn is spayed, fully vaccinated, de-wormed, on monthly heart-worm preventative, crate-trained and house-trained. This rescue does not do it's own 'shots' ... all medical care is done by a licensed, certified Veterinarian or done under their direct supervision (ex., monthly heartworm treatments &/or deworming). All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., probiotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
