My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Alvy, the purr-fect participant in our TNVR extravaganza! Brace yourself for a sprinkle of quirkiness as Alvy adjusts to her new life by your side. Keep your chuckles handy, as her left ear rocks a trendy tip, a telltale sign of her TNVR VIP status—yep, she's been spayed and vaccinated like a true rockstar! That eartip? It's not just a quirky accessory; it's a shining badge of honor for our community cats, saving lives left and right. In a wild twist of fate, Alvy narrowly escaped the claws of doom from another organization, but we swooped in to tame her and offer her a chance at adoption. We couldn't resist the temptation to turn her story into a hilarious adventure. So buckle up and get ready for the wacky escapades of Alvy, the feline sensation who went from almost-euthanasia to your side-splittingly silly companion!https://www.baileyshumanrescue.org/former-community-cat

More about this rescue

Who We Are
Bailey's Human Rescue, Incorporated (BHR) is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation based in Johnston County, North Carolina. BHR has established the first Trap Neuter Return (TNR) program in Johnston County, and provides a pet pantry for pet owners that need a little help. Through these programs, and community education, we hope to reduce the number of domesticated animals that meet an untimely end simply because they exist.

What We Believe
Bailey's Human Rescue was founded on the view that we, as humans, are responsible for the domesticated animal overpopulation crisis that we are faced with today. Humans chose to domesticate these animals, and humans have failed to manage their populations properly. It is inhumane for us to exterminate the animals we created and managed so poorly simply because it is the quickest option. If we work together, and chose humane methods, it is possible to end this crisis without causing unnecessary harm to these animals.
