My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Greetings, hoomans! I'm the one and only Creamsicle!

Listen, I've got a confession to make – I may seem all sweet and sophisticated, but I've got a touch of shyness in my paws!  It's just that life brought me to Bailey's Human Rescue, and I've been waiting for my purrfect family to come and whisk me away to a furrever home for more than THREE WHOLE YEARS! Can you believe it?

Now, don't be fooled by my "serious cat" vibes. I've had my fair share of epic adventures, battling pesky medical stuff like a true superhero!  But thanks to those amazing rescue peeps, I emerged victorious and stronger than ever!

So, here's the deal – when we first meet, you might think I'm a little shy, like a kitten playing hide-and-seek. But once I warm up to you, I'll be a purring machine, giving you ALL the affection you can handle! You see, I'm the kind of kitty who enjoys lazing around with you, binge-watching cat videos on the interwebs – I'm a connoisseur of that stuff!

Now, here's the scoop – I need someone with the patience of a saint and enough love to share with a furry little creature like me. Trust me, it'll be worth it! I'll keep you entertained with my antics, turning your life into a never-ending comedy show!

If you're up for the challenge and you think we could be the puuuurfect match, let's get together and make some magic happen!

Help a cool cat like me out, and share this post with all your buddies! Let them know that I'm looking for a silly, fun-loving family to call my own. Let's do this, furrever homes, here I come!

More about this rescue

Who We Are
Bailey's Human Rescue, Incorporated (BHR) is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation based in Johnston County, North Carolina. BHR has established the first Trap Neuter Return (TNR) program in Johnston County, and provides a pet pantry for pet owners that need a little help. Through these programs, and community education, we hope to reduce the number of domesticated animals that meet an untimely end simply because they exist.

What We Believe
Bailey's Human Rescue was founded on the view that we, as humans, are responsible for the domesticated animal overpopulation crisis that we are faced with today. Humans chose to domesticate these animals, and humans have failed to manage their populations properly. It is inhumane for us to exterminate the animals we created and managed so poorly simply because it is the quickest option. If we work together, and chose humane methods, it is possible to end this crisis without causing unnecessary harm to these animals.
