Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Yaba is estimated to be about 6 yo, and he is a male terrier mix who came all the way from Korea to be adopted just this past weekend. He is very gentle, and quiet, loves everyone including men and children and of course furry friends. He has gone through a lot in Korea, presumed to be born in a private shelter that was managed very poorly, and did not get much exercise. The world with over 600 dogs is all he ever knew, and life was not always easy for him. We were told he and his friend, Poseidon who traveled together to come to our organization were the two very quite and gentle dogs from the kennel that lived, and were often bullied by other dogs. He has an adorable underbite, and he is an easy going companion. He could use more exercise since he is not exposed to that much from Korea, but he enjoys the walk around the neighborhood! He is fully vetted, neutered and microchipped, and he is ready to find a family that he can call his own. He is working on potty training currently at his foster, and because he needs to form a strong bond with his new family in the US, we highly recommend someone who can spend a lot of time with him, and if you are working from home most of the times, we think it's even better!
We believe people who adopt rescue animals because they are willing to accept a bit of imperfection, and willing to embrace, work/ train and love them no matter what baggage the animal had in the past. It can be challenging, but extremely rewarding. We have seen amazing transformation in our adopted dogs who have been with loving families, and it is our goal to provide all of them with the opportunity. We are at our happiest when we see photos of our adopted animals smile with the new adoptive family, and we hope to find Captain a loving family who would do the same.
Please consider adopting Yaba and making him part of your family! If you would like to apply to adopt Yaba, you can download an application here:
You can MEET Yaba at our foster's home after your application is reviewed and approved by our team.
