My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ever hear of a bull in a China shop? Well that’s me! Except my name is China. So I guess I’m a China in a china shop! However you spin it I am your typical 3 year old 60lbs female pittie mix. I have no idea I am 60lbs, I will jump on everyone to tell them hi and I love them, and I bond with my peeps and their peeps, and those peeps over there. I’m told I walk well on a leash until I see a squirrel….SQUIRREL!!!! Or a deer, or other dog. I just find everything around me so exciting ALL OF THE TIME! I walk really well in quieter areas with less distractions and will also walk well if you feed me treats and hot dogs along the way. Don’t let this scare you, I’m smart and can definitely walk without getting sidetracked. Sometimes I just need a tasty reminder. But I do LOVE my walks. Not so much runs, my foster mom tried that and the stubborn female pittie in me told her no. And man do I love to play! All 60lbs of me. Even with kids! ! I even have a 10 year old best human friend that came to see me and give me toys! But sometimes when I weigh more than the kids I may knock them down with excitement. I just LOVE to play! And Bully Sticks! And Yak Chews! And KONGS! And stuffed toys, but then someone has to clean up the stuffing from them when I’m done. So if you’re up for that, I’m your girl and you should give me all the stuffed toys. I may snore and fart in my sleep like a human but I promise I’ll cuddle and keep you warm every night! And I usually sleep in so no need for early morning walks on those lazy Sunday mornings. I don’t have accidents in the house, I’ll go into my crate and sleep if you need me to but would prefer you throw a treat in there first. I really really really really really want to chase cats which makes me not a great sibling for a feline family member. I also do love to be the center of attention and while I can walk and play nicely with my foster siblings, I need an extremely specific canine sibling and may be best as your only fur child. But trust me, you only need one China in a china shop! ;)April 17, 2024, 1:06 pm
