My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stewart was found as a stray in rural Hardeman County. He was very thin and had a large growth on his neck. The fatty growth was removed and Stewart was neutered. He was a tired old fella and he slept for days recovering from his surgery and his days on his own. He was grateful for a full belly and a warm dry bed. Recently Stewart has seemed to come out of his funk....he has filled out and has a new friend at the shelter that has perked him up. He and Bart make quite the pair!! Stewart does have heartworms. At his age the vet will determine what type treatment is best for him. For now, we know he is enjoying better health. He deserves to be on a soft dog bed in a home with someone to love him.
