Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Husker Weim Rescue's young, 2 yr old foster pup Branch is looking for love. Foster mom is a Longmire fan so he is named after the TV show character, which is appropriate. Branch is tall, long legged, athletic, can be a quiet guy at times but he is also a talker, good looking. For all you Longmire Fans you will admit it is appropriate.
This young fellow is in a great learning time of his life. Sit, Stay, Wait....can't get the hang of lay because at that time he swings his paw around for shake are commands he knows. We did say he is a great car rider so traveling is fun. We are still working on cuddling on the couch, it's a learning process. Trash goes behind closed doors, make sure you counters are cleaned off. He loves loves loves to counter surf.
Branch has his gated area in the house, we have not crated him, so at the end of the day it's a good time to head outside. While foster mom walks the backyard, he runs back and forth checking on the status of the cats next door. So, guess what, we say no cats, and even no little dogs that are sized like a cat, no little kids either. Branch at his young age loves to rough house, so we don't want little kids knocked down. During leash time he can be a puller, but we are taking baby steps for him to learn how to walk by our side.
We talked about Branch being a quiet guy, remember the toddler who gets quiet so you know something is up? Well that can describe Branch so his new family needs to be weimaraner experienced, they know to stay those few steps ahead.
If you are interested in Branch, fill our our adoption application at huskerweimrescue.com.
