Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Chip is five years old. He was a stray that was found as a puppy, alone on a hillside starving. She is good with dogs his own size, but is afraid of larger dogs. He definitely likes to chase cats, chickens, squirrels, rabbits, horses and anything that lives in a hole. He is not a farm dog because of this. He is a unsure about younger children and younger adults possibly because he may have been abused. He is definitely protective of his food, which is understandable since he started as a puppy. I believe he would prefer to be the only dog, and your only pet, since he wants to be with you all the time. He would make a great companion, for an adult or couple. He loves to go for walks, loves to be pet and plays, or will just sit with you while you’re watching TV or reading a book in bed. He is a good watch dog, Strangers beware he is a protector! You would need to introduce them before he will let them pet him. He doesn’t like to go to the vet or shots.
