My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dobby is a majestic 2-year old male Hound mix who was found at the Lowe's Company Store on March 5, 2021 and brought to the safety of our shelter. Dobby was wearing a collar but, unfortunately, there was neither an id tag nor a dog tag to enable us to locate his owner .. And he was not microchipped.

Dobby has a brown/brindle short smooth coat with a patch of white on his chest, a long tail, and a handsome face with 'teddy bear eyes' and large floppy ears.

This big guy has a Type A outgoing personality and was the perfect gentleman when HSOV kennel tech Hayley Gorrell accompanied him for outdoor photos.

Dobby weighs 82 lbs and is fairly strong on a leash.

In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Dobby will be held for three days so that his owner will have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership.

UPDATE: Since Dobby was not reclaimed, he was neutered on March 29, 2021 and was also given rabies vaccine.
