Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Taco is a low-key adult cat (approx 7 years) with a pretty tabby coat. Taco is sweet, loving and loyal. She was recently moved to a new foster home where she spent the majority of the first few weeks laying low and quietly surveying her surroundings. While in recon mode, she enjoyed treats, catnip, and gentle petting – which resulted in a lot of purring. By week 3 Taco decided that she really enjoyed the company of her new foster and began seeking attention. She claimed a chair on which she likes to lounge, sleep, and get pets. Now she can always be found by her foster mom’s side.
Taco’s foster mom shared her current likes and dislikes. Likes: Taking naps on her chair, especially during quiet mornings; Temptations treats and any meal time; grooming herself to perfection; getting scratched behind her ears; being able to see where I am at all times, and rubbing against the coffee table legs. Dislikes: loud sudden noises or movement; new people, and when I don’t give her food right on schedule (cue the meowing!).
Taco will warm up to her forever family and love them like no other. She will likely always be scared of new people, but many cats are. We’re looking for a forever family for Taco that has no other pets and no small children. We’re sure that Taco will create an unbreakable bond with whomever adopts her.
