My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Blue! I am a loving, playful, strong, energetic, and fit 60 lb red-nosed pitbull (possibly mixed), and although I'm already pretty big, I still have some room to grow into my paws. I love attention and cuddles and am told my fur feels like suede. I like playing tug-o-war and fetch over short distances. I am house-trained, know "sit", and I am learning "stay". In my foster home, I am crated when my fosters are not home and enjoy supervised free roaming time when they are with me. I am still young and am learning which things are mine and are allowed to be chewed on- I love toys and I want to please you- durable chew toys, supervision, play time to get my energy out, and positive reinforcement are the ingredients to my success. I like play time with other dogs and love time with my canine friends in my foster home- I have a dominant personality so it has to be the right match and I do best with slower introductions. I love food and treats (don't you?!) but I need to be fed separately because I resource guard food (don't worry, it's easy because I am fine eating in my crate or a separate room!) I like all people- I live with kids and love to give them kisses and play with them! Due to my size and energy, I might be best with bigger kids so I don't accidentally knock down little ones with my excitement. Really, I am just a girl looking for love. Maybe you are just a family, looking for me?!
