Max is a yorkie that was adopted for a families’ 90 year old father who recently passed away. He is a very loving companion dog that will LOVE his person dearly. Max barks at strangers, kids and other dogs so would be best with an adult. and could adapt to older children that are dog savvy He will bark at new people, the mailman or delivery people from the door. He would fit great with with that lives alone or a couple that wants a lapdog. He is crate trained and loves toys!!! When adopted for the elderly man it was discovered he had heartworms which has been fully treated and cleared. Max needs a home with much love because he really desires to be someone’s baby.
This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $500 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 12pm-2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
