My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bernard is about 13 months old. He was found on the outskirts of town by the US/Mexico border. He was with his brother, Skywalker, at the time. Skywalker came right up to the finders, but it took Bernard a little more trusting for him to come along. After 6 weeks of rehabilitation in a lovely foster home, medication for their wounds, fixed and vaccinated, they are finally ready for their forever homes.

Bernard is more nervous than Skywalker. He lets me pick him up and devour him in kisses and love, but needs to be more attached to you. He is about 13-15lbs and is full-grown. I am guessing he is a terrier, golden retriever, poodle mix?

He would do great in a home with another dog and a family that is active.
