My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

THIS POST WILL BE REMOVED WHEN THE DOG IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. INQUIRIES REGARDING AVAILABILITY WILL NOT BE ANSWERED.

Sven
Requires Fenced yard
Adoption Donation $600

Sven is an almost 4 month old (born 11/3/20) smooth black and tan dachshund puppy recently released from a commercial breeding facility. He's an energetic, mischievous little pup that loves to follow you everywhere and "help" you with whatever you're doing. Sven likes to explore and is very curious. Once he tires himself out, he will curl up in your lap for cuddles and a nap.
Sven is doing well with crate training. He is kenneled when his foster is at work and at night. Sven is catching onto the whole potty training thing, but he still marks and/or has accidents in the house sometimes. He's only been potty training for a week, so will need a little more practice. Sven will do best with a securely fenced yard as he has not learned to walk on a leash yet.
Sven gets along well with other dogs. He likes to cuddle with them and try to get them to play with him. He does get himself scolded by the older dogs in the house from time to time, but that doesn't discourage his puppy antics.
Sven is a cute little ball of energy, ready for his forever home!

The suggested adoption donation for Sven is a minimum of $600 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs.Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts to an extended geographical area as long as we can locate a local volunteer to perform the required home visit. Approved adopters are required to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not arrange transport, or fly our rescue dogs without a "pet nanny". All of our dogs that come from a commercial breeding facility require a securely fenced yard AND a resident companion dog, unless the dog's bio states otherwise. Please note, invisible or underground fencing is not considered secure or appropriate containment. Adoption applications can be found at www.wagntrainterrierrescue.com/adoption-information
