***Adoption Pending*** Meet Fiona! Fiona came to the rescue from a shelter at a few days old, along with her mom and 2 siblings. Mom is a Chihuahua mix but we have no idea who dad is as none of the puppies look like mom! I am roughly 5 lbs at 8 weeks old. My mom is very shy and I have learned to be shy with her but I know in my own home I’ll gain the confidence I need. I am a typical puppy that loves to play and will need guidance & patience from my new home. I will require a fenced in yard and children over 6 years of age. I have had 2 rounds of vacc., microchipped, and will come with a spay contract to be completed within 6 months of adoption. To apply to adopt visit  www.handsofhoperescue.com/adoptapp .  Fiona's adoption fee is $175 with a $75 spay deposit that will be returned with proof of spay.   All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the dogs foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the pet. This dog is fostered in Ness City, KS and adopter must drive to pick up. We do not ship or deliver. We do allow out of state adoptions, however qualified in state applications will be given preference.  Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process.
