NeNe came to us from our local city shelter. She was dumped there by her owners with her sister due to 'having a baby". NeNe is an 8 year old chihuahua and weighs about 9 pounds.

NeNe is very much a typical chihuahua - she likes to sleep the day away on her little bed under a big warm blanket! She is good with other little dogs as long as they don't jump on her or want her to play. She will promptly tell them where to go and how to get there! She is very good on a leash and loves to go for walks - it is clearly how she was pottied in her former home. She will also use potty pads in her foster home. NeNe does not like to be picked up unless she has the leash on. If you try to pick her up without it, she will also tell you where to go lol. NeNe came to us unspayed and with mammary masses and we think that it must have been painful to be picked up. NeNe does come to sit on your lap if you are sitting down and she lets you pet her and give her booty scratches. She will often come up to her foster mom and ask for affection! NeNe will sometimes bark at the cats in her foster home but it is nothing to be concerned about. No young kids as they may not understand about picking her up. If you have ever owned a chihuahua, none of this is unexpected! NeNe would love a quieter home where she can go for walks and just be loved for who she is! Yes she has a little 'frosting' on her face but she has a lot of love and life to give someone that could use a friend.

NeNe is now spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm. And the painful masses have been removed too! Her adoption fee is $350
