My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

THANK YOU for finding us and interest in our rescued dog. Because Hank is an international rescue through Taiwan. If you’re interested in adopting also can pick him up at international airport, please fill out an application on our website. Please email us if you have any question. Thank you very much.

-----------------------

Hank was born in a mountainous area. Someone threw poisons in the area which is unfortunately common in parts of Taiwan. Unfortunately, his mom and siblings did not survive when the rescuers showed up. They discovered the sad scene but surprisingly found Hank still had a pulse, though very weak. The rescuers immediately took him to the emergency vet! Miraculously, Hank survived after a few days of treatments. Hank's mom was a black lab and our best guest is that his dad was probably a FMD/Lab mix. This is why we labeled him a FMD/Lab mix.

Hank is very outgoing, enthusiastic and friendly! We have no doubt that he will be someone's best buddy! However, he is very energetic, loves to play and gets excited easily (and has a tendency of jumping up to greet people) - your typical lab behaviors. Due to these traits, we think it might be best that he does not go to a family with very young children. Hank gets along well with cats because his foster family has a cat. They sleep next top each other, eat together and even watch TV together. Hanks LOVES playing with other dogs, and his foster dad takes him often to the dog parks to socialize with other dogs. Hank's favorite thing is to sneak up to his foster dad's bed to nap.

Given Hank's energy level, playful nature, and the fact that he already weighs 55 pounds, we believe a family with a fenced backyard and loves outdoor activities would be a perfect match for him. He survived a terrible beginning of his life and had strong enough will to live through the ordeal, his future can only be brighter!

Hank is house trained, uses pee pads indoor and would go out to do his business too.
Would you like to give our loving boy Hank a forever home?
