My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Willow is a 6 yr old rescued mule and available as a companion. She is current on Coggins and vaccines. Super sweet and good with others. She had an injury to her hock last year which took months to heal, so after her rescue and vetting, it was advised that she not be ridden. She has been ridden before and we have a video of her when she was saved from the kill-pen. It is possible that a small child ride her or be lead on her as she seems to be doing very well at this time. I would not recommend her for an adult or a lot of riding as there is always the chance that she could reinjure herself again so we do think she is best as primarily a companion to someone else in the pasture. She is a lovebug. She will likely need some groundwork as well as she has been enjoying her life as a free roamer. Are you looking for a girl of your own? As of May 1, we now require a $25.00 application fee on any equines for adoption. This is to help us save time and weed out the serious adopters from the bucket kickers. Thank you!
