Here's what the humans have to say about me:
(Special Adoption Fee) Winnie is about 1.5 years old. She was abandoned, and she became a mama at a very young age. She was maybe 9 months old and a very small cat when she gave birth to 6 kittens. She was a very good mama, and all of her kittens have been adopted. Winnie is a very active cat, but she is still a little overweight. Having been a stray, she loves her food! She gets along with other cats, but she can be a bit bossy. She loves dogs and is not bothered by her foster's 75 pound dog at all. She likes attention, but she is not very fond of being picked up. She will probably blossom greatly in a home where she gets a lot of love and where she can feel the security that she will never be abandoned again.
Are you interested in adopting Winnie or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.
Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).
We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application.
