***Adoption Pending*** Oh sweet, sweet Nelly! She is a boxer/lab mix and is about 5 months old and weighs 40 lbs. Nelly is as friendly as can be. She’s so excited when her people come home and gallops around like a baby horse. She loves snuggling up next to you or getting some scratches behind the ear. She is doing well with kennel training and sleeps through the night. Potty training is going great too. She will appreciate your patience as she is young and still learning the rules. Nelly loves people and other dogs. She’s great with kids and cats. A fenced yard is required as she loves to run around and play. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. Nelly is ready to join your family and share her happy face with you everyday. To apply to adopt visit  www.handsofhoperescue.com/adoptapp . Nelly 's adoption fee is $250.  All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the dogs foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the pet. This dog is fostered in Hays, KS and adopter must drive to pick up. We do not ship or deliver. We do allow out of state adoptions, however qualified in state applications will be given preference.  Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process.
