My story

In Chattanooga
Leia is a down-to-earth princess! She is an affectionate 8-year-old Shepherd mix weighing about 52 pounds. She is spayed, housebroken, up to date on all vaccinations, on heartworm prevention, and microchipped.

Leia is happy to meet anyone and is very curious. She greets most guests with skepticism at first, but will be rolling over for belly rubs and trying to give kisses in less than a minute. She loves to play fetch and is good at catching treats and balls at short distances.

She gets along well with other dogs her size, but not so much the smaller ones. Probably would not enjoy life with a cat companion. She can be protective of her food and is anxious around unfamiliar dogs, especially when surprised. Leia needs an adult only home. She does not do well with children. A peaceful indoor setting with a fenced backyard with room for her to roam would be perfect. She does enjoy going on short walks, but due arthritis issues, she is limited on how far she can go.

Leia is a sweet, affectionate girl who can be a little anxious, but is ready and willing to give and receive love any time.
