Rafiki is a special 4 year old Doberman. She has Megaesophagus, which means food has difficulty getting from her mouth to her stomach. Rafi will need to eat upright for the rest of her life, ideally in a Bailey chair. She is able to drink normally without the chair. For treats, she uses a Lickety Stik. She will require equally as special parents, dedicated to her feeding needs. This sweetheart has a ton of puppy energy, and plays just like a normal Doberman. She will need activity and structure like any youngster. Gentle and playful, Rafiki does well with other large and medium dogs. She also loves youngsters and is eligible for adoption to families with children. Rafiki loves to camp, hike, and adventure with her foster family. She attends local vet schools to teach them about her special needs, and is a local celebrity. Rafiki has even attended a camp for special needs children.
