Lucille instantly stood out to several staff and volunteers when she first arrived. Her sweet face and stocky build instantly tugged on the heartstrings of many! Lucille has a spunky personality and prefers to tell us exactly how she feels with her expressive ears. She has recently begun training with our groundwork team and appears to be a quick learner! Unfortunately Lucille does not remain sound for riding. After being evaluated by our veterinarian, it is suspected she has numerous lameness issues but she is perfectly comfortable being a pasture companion, just no riding! This sweet mare gets along great with other mares and geldings. She would love to join your family!
