My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA

Miss Ginger is a total sweetheart.
She was impounded as a stray at a local kill shelter. She must have had a rough life and probably never had a real home with someone loving on her.

She is starving for attention, won't leave your side and loves to cuddle up with you .
Ginger is a 2 year old girl, medium size dog, some sort of shepherd mix, about 40 lbs.
She is great with older kids and people, can be hesitant towards certain men and gets intimidated and protective with a growl. She has never bitten or even came close to that but it is something what has to be considered. She would do best in a low traffic home where not a lot of visitors go in an out or someone who will help her get over that fear and work with her. The other option is to put her up when male guests join the party.
She is completely crate trained, does well with dogs if properly introduced. ( don't know about cats), walks great on a leash. She needs basic training but is a very smart cookie and will do anything to please you .

She would be great for an active person as she enjoys walks and hikes but is not very demanding of her exercise routine. However, making her a couch potato will not benefit her socialization.
