Here's what the humans have to say about me:
‼️FOSTER NEEDED‼️
🐾❤️🐾 Venus 🐾❤️🐾
Venus a.k.a. Ven (male dog) is a sweet and loving boy who loves to give kisses. He also LOVES to cuddle! He is very playful and loves to play outdoors with a ball!
🐾 2.5 years old.
🐾 Medium sized.
🐾 Ven is friendly towards other dogs but has not lived with them. Foster or adopter must follow our two week decompression protocol and must have the ability to keep Venus separate from resident dog in the event they do not get along.
🐾 According to his previous owner, Ven lived with two cats and was good with them.
🐾 Friendly with children, but we recommend older children only due to his size and energy level. He may jump on them.
🐾 Knows commands and walks well on leash.
🐾 Crate-trained.
🐾 He’s a strong chewer and needs durable toys.
🐾 Neutered.
🐾 Microchipped and Up-to-date on vaccinations.

Important Notice 📝
We are primarily a Pit Bull 🐶🥰rescue and we require the following because its whats in the best interest of our dogs:
✴️Experience with bully breed or large breed dogs; we love that you want to adopt, but we believe we are not the right rescue for first time dog owners.
✴️Home ownership ~or~
✴️Renting in CT from the same location for a minimum of three years and letter from your landlord stating you are able to own a dog without restrictions on breed, size, or weight. Please note that out-of-state renters are not eligible for consideration.
✴️No babies or toddlers! Sorry! We love our kiddos just as we love our pups and we want to keep both safe at all times. We understand that Pitbulls are often the best breed with children—the “Nanny Dog” as they are known, but with so many variables involved when it comes to young kids and dogs, we always err on the side of extreme caution. This now applies to all of our dogs, (regardless of breed), even when listed as “good with kids.”😊
❇️As a result of our limited volunteer capabilities, once your application is received and reviewed, regretfully, we’re only able to respond to those applicants that have been determined to be the absolute best fit or best match for the dog. We apologize that we do not have the ability to reach out to every applicant.
❤️❤️❤️
All of our dogs are rescued from within the state of CT and fostered by amazing families located in the state of CT. #adoptlocaldogs
