Meet "Kane". Kane is about two years old and is mostly white with big tiger patches.
Kane was given up because his owners moved to a new apartment that did not allow pets. Kane was brought to us by a young man that we know who just loves animals and he often finds abandoned animals in his neighborhood and brings them to us to find homes for.
Kane is a sweet little guy but he is not very happy because he does not have a home. Remember what Dorothy said in the movie The Wizard of Oz, "There is no place like home"!
Kane was already neutered. We brought him to the veterinarian and he got his shots, worming and he tested negative for leukemia/aids.
To adopt from us, you MUST have a veterinarian reference in your own name. We get a veterinarian reference from your veterinarian which is a history of medical care administered by your veterinarian to your present or previous pet or pets. NO OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS AT THIS TIME. Please do not contact us if you cannot abide by these adoption rules. Adoption fee is $215.00. We will meet people at Petco located at 201 Union Street in Waterbury on Saturday during our adoption hours from 12:00 to 3:00. We will enforce safety rules. Only 1 or 2 persons at a time.
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WE STRESS THAT IN ORDER TO ADOPT, YOU MUST HAVE A VETERINARIAN REFERENCE.
