Meet Cassius Clay aka Cash aka Johnny Cash
This boy is such a goofy dog. He will leave you laughing, snuggle up with you on the couch, or accompany you nicely on a walk around the neighborhood. He’s truly such a great companion! This boy was found as a stray by some good samaritans who he ran up to trying to find help. Thankfully he was taken to animal control who could clearly see he needed help. That’s where he found his way to our rescue!
He came to us basically naked, with a severe case of mange and a bacterial infection. Thankfully he has beaten both of those cases! But now the vet has diagnosed him with food and environmental allergies. He is on a special veterinary diet. His future adopters should be aware of this and willing to maintain this diet in his best interest.
Cassius would be successful as an only dog, but could be successful in a home with cats after a slow introduction. He does not care for other dogs in his forever home, but is not reactive on walks. He is crate trained, neutered and ready to start his life being loved forever. He currently lives in a foster home where he loves to cuddle, chew on a toy and play puzzle games. Could Cassius be the one for you?
Cash loves every person he meet and us great with kids! Cash would love someone that will spend lots of time with him and even take him places with them.
