My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Nada! I am a sweet dog that is currently residing in Amman, Jordan. Although I am only two years old, I have experienced a lot of hardship and trauma in my short lifetime. I lost my front leg earlier in what was likely a hit and run incident. While trying to survive with my injury, I endured abuse from other street dogs as well as humans. I couldn't understand why these humans were inflicting harm on me as all I wanted was to be shown compassion. To make matters worse, I became pregnant. Once I gave birth, I tried my best to keep myself as well as my babies alive, all while enduring the pain of my disability. Unfortunately, I suffered an additional injury to my hind leg on the same side of my body where I lost my front leg. Despite my obstacles, I resisted succumbing to my pain and managed to walk and feed myself as well as my babies. Although I tried my best, three out of my six babies didn't make it. Thankfully, my three remaining pups and I were rescued. As hard a decision as it was for my rescuers to make, I was separated from my babies in order to undergo medical treatment necessary to save my hind leg. After many surgeries, I am now ready to be adopted to a family in the United States where I can have the life I deserve. My rescuers say that my sweet disposition makes it impossible not to fall in love with me. I love humans and other dogs. All I want are cuddles and affection. My rescuers tell me that I will soon be able to play freely in dog parks filled with plush green grass and snuggle with my very own family. Will you give me that chance?
