My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, friends! My name is Paneer and I am a young, neutered male, orange tabby looking for my forever home! I was born April 9, 2020. Have you ever heard of that story Goldilocks and the Three Bears? My foster mom says I remind her of it because I am "just right." I am playful, but not too playful, I am snuggly, but not too snuggly, and I'm handsome, but not too handsome. Okay, there's really no such thing as too handsome, but you get my drift. I was a stray, fending for myself, and I clearly wasn't doing a great job of it. I was skinny and had broken one of my back toes really badly. My toe ended up having to be amputated, but luckily it doesn't bother me one bit. One less nail to trim, right? I was also born with a crooked tail that's always bent at a 90 degree angle in the middle, but I think it makes me even more amazing and unique. I absolutely love to snuggle up right next to my foster mom, but I'm really good about leaving her alone when she has work to do. I like to talk every once in a while, but I'm not that loud. I always use the litterbox like a good boy. Although I do love having cat friends, I appreciate having a slow introduction to them. Once I get to know them a little better, I enjoy playing rough and cuddling with them when we nap. I promise to be fantastic company to you! Please give me a chance at the life I've always wanted with people of my own. Adoption Fee: $75. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance.

NOTE ABOUT BREED LABELING: Visual breed identification of cats is unreliable and usually inaccurate. So, for most of our adoptable cats, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each cat or kitten as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our cats based on personality, not by breed label.

Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
