Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lacey is enjoying life to the max these days! Lacey is a stunning Bombay mix with a dramatic story.
She came to us late one evening and we rushed her to the ER to find that she could not give birth. Lacey needed an emergency C-section. Only one kitten survived and she is in her forever home.
Lacey could not give birth due to an old injury, a dislocated hip the goes inward. Lacey was probably hit by a car at one point. The injury is not noticeable unless you know that it is there. Three of our veterinarians did not recommend surgery. This would require for the hip to be broken, realigned and pinned. It would be too traumatic for such a minute injury since Lacey can jump and run and move about easily without pain. The only requirement is that Lacey have a stool softener once a day to help her move her bowels past the dislocation point so she does not get constipated. Lacey takes it easily.
Lacey is a doll! She is so good-natured. Through all of her pain, she did not hiss once. Lacey loves attention and she is so happy and playful. She can go home with other cats. She would also really enjoy being an only cat so she could get all of your attention.
