My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I have a sad story, a tale of a horrible beginning to life. Daisy was found a stray, with very little fur, due to mange. It has taken nearly 5 months to clear up her mange, and now instead of being called chocolate chips- she is finally looking like a cute and cuddly black Lab mix with white feet and face. Daisy is 1yrs old, and is the all around best addition to any family. She loves the company of other dogs, cats, and esp. people! Daisy has perfected the use of "puppy eyes". She is a fast learner, and adjusted to walking on a leash in only a day. When taken out in public she is shy at first but then struts her cute lab stuff as if the whole world is looking- which they do. Many volunteers have fell in love with her classic charm and good disposition. She greats you at the door, loves to run around the back yard, play with toys, and is very well behaved on car rides. We are still working on good manners when walking. Although a fast learner- she is stubborn to push. Sit, Stay, wait, down, are not apart of her vocabulary yet, but how can you blame her..she finally feels well enough to do any of the fore mentioned. She loves bathtime, and is receiving 2 baths a week to keep up the growth of her coat. She is house broken to a doggie door during the day, and loves to sleep in bed or on the couch. She is very quite, never really barks unless she needs to alert you of the unknown. Daisy knows that she is ready for adoption, and she is trying very hard to express that to anyone who comes to see!!! Daisy is current on all vaccinations, dewormed, she is microchipped, and spayed.
