Here's what the humans have to say about me:
FOR ADOPTION: SUGAR is a young adult female looking for a fun family who can ensure she will feel safe and loved for the rest of her days. This sweet girl was kicked out of her home with her three young sons and left to live in an abandoned van until a caring RCMP officer herd their plight and contacted us. When Sugar arrived in our care she was terrified and defensive. After moving into an experienced foster home she realized that these new humans meant her no harm and she let her guards down and her true personality started to emerge. Sugar is friendly and sweet with the shelter staff and volunteers but has had limited experience with children.
We think she will do well in a school aged + home where all her new humans will understand her need to settle in before pushing her boundaries. Sugar has been respectful of the other cats at the shelter and open to the idea of calm dogs. She enjoys exploring her environment and is just starting to have playful spurts of energy. Sugar would do well indoor only or could be indoor/outdoor in a safe environment after she has established a strong bond with her new family. She is spayed, vaccinated and up to date on parasite control. If you have a lot of love to give apply today at www.NWAS.ca for a chance to meet SUGAR.
