Leo is blind due to a cerebral cortex injury due to trauma or a disease called hydrocephalus.Leo will always be a special needs dog. He has shown improvement in being pet and a desire to be playful however he can only be touched or carried for a short time due to his brain response. He will do better in a quiet home. He is somewhat independent but needs help with going outside to potty. Overall he's a very laid back boy and has shown a loving side. For grooming, it’s best to occasionally attempt to cut his hair. Full grooming will have to be done under sedation. This is due to his condition. Leo needs to take medicine for valley fever for the next 6 months. The cost of this medicine is about $50.00 per month
