My story

Nashville, TN: Pudge the Pup would tell you all about herself if she could! She’s a vocal little sass machine. She enjoys cuddling, playing with her foster parents and foster fur sisters. She’s yet to meet a stranger; just friends she hasn’t made yet.

She continues to grow in confidence and size daily. She’s working on her crate and potty training still but she’s reached the point where she REFUSES to mess in her crate at night. She will beg for you to get up until she is taken outside to potty.

She is learning what “no” means when it comes to people and dog limits. She has responded well to dogs who do not want to play, she does not continue to push or be over whelming like some puppies.

She responds well to correction from our dogs as well as us. She talks back but she does listen. She’s a smart girl who has almost completely mastered sit, but has fully mastered “come”. Fetch is challenging as she gets distracted easily but if there are no distractions she will do it with no issue. She loves crinkle toys, squeakers and hard chewies.

Pudge the Pup will be a foster to adopt. She is too young to be spay (we like to wait until 6-8 months) so the adoption wouldn't be final until her medical is fully accommodated The rescue will fund all needs until the adoption is finalized. We would like to get Pudge settled into her forever home now so she doesn't grow an attachment to her foster home while waiting on the spay.
