Sweety was abandoned in a remote mountain region in the middle of Taiwan. She was only 3-4 month old at the time. Very likely, she was chased away by others when she wanted to look for food or shelter. She came to a local family looking for help, but stood in a distance. The homeowner left her some food and Sweety only started to approach the food when she noticed there was no one else around. The homeowner, who was unable to keep her, felt very sad for this little puppy and asked for her on Facebook, and Sweety’s rescuer answered the posting and came to Sweety’s rescue.
After a few months of love and care by the rescuer, Sweety gained her weight back and got a clean bill of health (her blood work was normal). Now, we want to find Sweety a loving forever home that she truly deserves.
Sweety is a bit shy at first but she is a gentle soul. She gets along with children, medium level energy, and loves playing with dogs her size. She tends to observe a bit before jumping in to play with larger dogs, likely to make sure it was safe for her to do so. With all rescue dogs, patience is key to help these wonderful dogs like Sweety to adjust to a new environment. She opens up to people soon enough with love and care.
Sweety is house trained, uses pee pads indoor and would go out to do her business too.
