MEET SARAH!
This sweet, gem of a dog is named Sarah! She joined us after being surrendered to Philly's animal control shelter due to her former family experiencing homelessness. They had nothing but amazing things to say about Sarah including that she loved to be sung to. Unfortunately, they weren't able to take Sarah back so she's now looking for an amazing forever home to match her amazing personality!
Sarah is around 10 years old. She is currently living in foster care with another senior dog who she was a bit shy with at first but has warmed up with wonderfully. She is also living with two silly kittens and she absolutely loves playing with them. She had lived with cats in her previous home as well and would likely do great in a home with them in the future! Just as she looks, she's sweet as pie and was an easy addition to the rescue. She enjoys meeting new people and is very go-with-the-flow! She may make a bed out of your laundry pile though. Sarah had a full veterinary workup when she came to the shelter and besides having sensitive skin which her former family reported, she's very healthy! She's even lost a few unncessary pounds since entering foster care. She does great on a sensitive skin formulated food.
Sarah is available for adoption through City of Elderly Love. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She is also heartworm and lymes disease negative. Interested in adopting her?
