We rescued Abbie a while ago. We have had major issues with the dog we already had getting along with poor Abbie. It seems he just needs to absolutely be an only dog and for Abbies safety we need to give in and separate them. We don’t know her history, but came to us with a big scar across her nose and a missing toe! We have children and she is amazing with them. She loves people! I would think she could possibly do well with another dog... depending on the dog. After putting up with our dog so long a meet and greet would be a must to make sure they get along. She does have a dominant personality it seems. High prey drive, pulls on a leash, but has a great recall, sits, listens well, responsible in the house, goes in a kennel but it’s never necessary she goes in, funny enough so far it seems she does not enjoy swimming.
I’d like to see her be spoiled rotten, big hard to run a round in and toys and bones galore. We will be very picky in choosing her forever home.
