My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you active, up for some adventure, but also love cuddling on the couch?  Then Milo is your guy!  Described by his foster as the best guy they have ever met, Milo is wise, gentle, and fun.  Milo loves to run, explore the woods, chomp on snow, and cuddle with his toys.  Milo is looking for a family that is active, loves being outdoors, will stimulate his mind (he is really smart!), and will treat him like a member of the family.

Age: 3 years old

Breed: Husky

Weight: 60 lbs

Kid-friendly: Milo can be a little jumpy, so we are recommending older, considerate children only.

Dogs: Yes!  Milo is a very mellow dog.  He will defer to the “alpha” dog in the house, but might get uncomfortable in environments like a dog park, because he is so passive.

Cats: We do not recommend

Crate trained: In his foster home, Milo is free to move around the house. He does better if doors are open so he has “access” to his people.

Potty trained: Yes!

Likes: Milo loves being outside, eating chicken and rice, running / walking, cuddling at home with his humans, toys, car rides, and marrow bones!

Health concerns: None - he received a dental while in rescue.

Behaviors: Milo struggles from separation anxiety so he's seeking a family that is either home often or can bring Milo with them. Grey Face Rescue can offer support to assist with the separation anxiety.

Adoption fee: $375

Adopters will be responsible for continued preventatives, follow-up appointments, and medications (if applicable). $50 discount for seniors (65+) and veterans. Adoption fees help pay for the dog's veterinary exam, vaccinations (rabies, distemper, and bordetella), HW test, blood panel, a microchip, and spay/neuter if needed and additional health needs specific to each animal.
